We’re arranging another happy hour on Thursday, December 22nd from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at Dakota’s (on DongHu Lu near XinLe Lu). Last month’s events were great, with new members joining up. We hope to see both new and regular faces come out and join us.

Shanshan Song *11, James Wang *10 and Yiyun Chen *07 joined Sean O-Rourke ’03, Lynn King ’83, Hui-min Tzeng ’00 and David S. Wu ’79 to celebrate Dominc Notario ’03′s new assignment in Singapore. We were fascinated by Dominic’s stories in Beijing and Ping An Insurance Company!
Attached are some pictures from the dinner. We are hopeful that Shanshan Song *11 and Yiyun Chen *07 can help organize a series of presentations by Princetonians on what they are doing in Shanghai. Ying Zhou ’99′s Cairo and Damascus continue to receive very positive feedback, and we could learn more about Charity Boxing from Ryan Dvorak ’07, my Moral Innovations book, Lynn King ’83′s Fish Farm, etc.
During the Princeton Thanksgiving dinner, the new set of officers was announced. The new PAASH Officers are as follows:

We are also holding officer elections for open positions: The open positions are as follows:
Chairperson – Run the club and coordinate with other alumni clubs.

Secretary – Keep the club organized.
Treasurer – Manage money for guest dinners.
If you’d like to stand for any of these positions, please send us an email by Saturday, Nov 5. We need your help to keep the club fun and active.

The alumni clubs in Shanghai are aiming to rotate hosting duties for monthly Ivy Happy Hours. As part of its annual networking event, Columbia will be hosting this month’s Ivy Happy Hour. Details are as follows:

Greetings Tigers!
In lieu of our end-of-the-month happy hour, we will be holding a special send-off gathering for a number of tigers who will be leaving Shanghai in the next couple of weeks. Come join us THIS Friday, 11 June. With Shanghai’s window of pleasant weather still here, we’re jumping on the opportunity to have another outdoor gathering; this time at the newly opened The Apartment.
